Police arrest man for stealing from fire station
06/08/2009 9:33 PM by John M
Richmond Police arrested a man today after he was caught stealing a cell phone from Fire Station #1:
Firefighters were dispatched on a call shortly before 11:30 a.m., but as they hurriedly drove from the station house at 308 N. 24th St., they noticed that the automatic garage door didn’t close. When they returned a few minutes later, the door was still open, and they saw someone inside the station house stuffing something into one of his pockets, fire Lt. Shawn L. Jones said. The man ran, and the firefighters quickly realized one of their cell phones was missing, so they drove after him while calling police.
How utterly low and pathetic can one be to STEAL from a fire station???
This amazes me, especially after someone broke into ART180 — yes, the amazing Art180 — and stole a laptop last week.
People are sheer idiots!
I’m sick of it! Glad they caught the guy.
Um…how stupid do you have to be?! You don’t steal from firemen, the guys who drive ambulances, and the church. That’s pretty much the fastest way to channel bad kharma.
