3 kids steal, crash Cadillac
06/17/2009 9:54 AM by John M
The RTD is reporting that no injuries resulted when 3 juveniles stole and crashed a car last night:
Police said the incident ended when the stolen Cadillac crashed at 1 a.m. in the 3900 block of Crestview Road, just south of [Frankin Military Academy].
I guess they weren’t aware of the 11 PM curfew.
Gee, I thought all the teenagers were just star-gazing, or doing stop-motion photography after 11 pm. I guess a few are “up to no good” after all!
It’s TRUE! if we only had that curfew this never would have hap- oh wait.
well, all rational thoughts aside, this seems like a great excuse to strip some more privileges from the good kids.

More than a few adults are “up to no good” too.. should we just strip them of all of their rights so that we all feel a little bit “safer”?
Tiny was referring to a previous thread where the subject came up. Maybe they were driving while star-gazing.

Not a good argument.Children/Juveniles are the responsibility of the parents and/or adults by law. If they want to gaze at stars, they can do that in their backyard where the parent is available for supervision.
Was someone driving their parent’s vehicle. After reading the comments over at Times Dispatch, I got the impression the vehicle may have belonged to a parent. Not that it changes the situation…just curious, as none of the juveniles was charged with auto theft.
