The trees of Libby Hill Park before Hurricane Isabel

Chuy sent in these photos of Libby Hill Park from a foggy morning in the time before Hurricane Isabel tore through:
… pictures were taken in a foggy morning as you can see, the quality is not as good, I had my old non-digital camera, we had many more trees in the park then, hopefully the new ones will grow quick and restore the old look, it looks like the rain forest

Nice shots, Chuy, I like the foggy look! Is that the park house in one? Were most of these taken looking east, perhaps from either the top floor or roof of a building that sits right on the western edge of the park?

Thanks Chuy, when I first moved up here many years ago I lived at 2710. Figured that was the vantage point from which you took the shots. Great history of the park!
