Back-to-School Community Festival

Temple of Judah at 2120 Venable Street will be hosting a Back to School Community Festival on Saturday, August 22nd from noon to 5 pm. There will be free food, games, face painting, and FREE SCHOOL SUPPLIES.

2009 Summer Reenactment Series

The Patrick Henry Committee invites you to bring your friends and family to a reenactment of the Second Virginia Convention of March 1775. In the presence of Washington, Jefferson, and other notable Virginians, Patrick Henry delivered his passionate call for liberty, uttering the immortal words, “Give me liberty or give me death!â€
Tickets are handed out on a first come, first served basis starting at 1:00pm. At 1:30pm, there is a music program on the 1905 Stein organ. The reenactment begins at 2:00pm.

Back-to-School/Community Day

4th Tabernacle will be hosting its 8th Annual Back-to-School/Community Day for the residents of Church Hill. It will take place at the corner of Clay and 31st Street. At the event, school supplies will be given away as well as information from local agencies.
