Movie Night returns to Chimborazo Park this Saturday
The Friends of Chimborazo Park today announced that Neighborhood Watch, an award-winning short by neighbor Lucas Krost, and the house renovation comedy The Money Pit will be shown this Saturday, September 19, at Chimborazo Park.
Festivities begin around 7:30PM and the movie starts when dark. Patrons are invited to bring food & drink, friends, and something to sit on and join us.
This event is Sponsored by Chimborazo Dog Park and Yellow House.
Patrons are asked to make a small donation to cover the cost of licensing this film as well as to pay for security. If enough funds are raised, Family Movie Night in the park will become a regular occurrence in Chimborazo Park.
Please note that the park closes immediately after the completion of the movie.
Everyone should come see Lucas’ short. Caught it on the first run, it’s great, won the 24 hour Film Festival. Go Lucas!
You’ll see local animal actors Pepsi and Gizmo featured in “Neighborhood Watch” (as if you needed another reason to see Lucas’s really funny film.) They’re naturals!
To clarify, donations will be accepted to cover FUTURE movie and security costs. The City requires the presence an off-duty police officer, the cost of which is almost as much as movie rights. All well worth it!
Lucas’s film was the highlight of the evening. It was true sarcastic genius
