Can you give 5 hours next weekend?
The 2nd HandsOn Greater Richmond Day is just over a week out and the volunteer opportunity at Armstrong High School still needs 13 volunteers. Can you give 5 hours towards a project that will have a daily positive impact on the students at the school?
Join the 2nd Annual HandsOn Day – Give 5 Hours and get a better Richmond. On Saturday, October 17th, HandsOn Greater Richmond will rally and organize 1,000 volunteers to tackle community issues through a day of service. 45 projects will take place at local nonprofits, schools, and parks. Volunteers will build trails, paint walls and murals, repair homes, feed the hungry, build birdhouses, plant flowers, care for animals – you name it. Come on out on your own, or bring your friends, family, or co-workers. Sign up today at www.HandsOnGR.org.
