Planning Commission to consider Union Hill O&H
11/13/2009 6:20 AM by John M
The Richmond Planning Commission will consider a few local projects at their Monday, November 16 meeting (PDF): Richmond Slave Trail Markers and Lumpkin’s Jail Site Landscaping at 1500 East Franklin Street, and Ord.No.2009-203 To amend and reordain City Code 114-930.5 to establish the Union Hill Old and Historic District.
Union Hill is a neighborhood that deserves the honor of being named a City Old and Historic District. The neighbors here have worked very hard for nearly two and a half years toward this effort and it our success depends on the outcome of these upcoming meetings. This is an investment in the long-term health of our entire community, so whether you live in Union Hill or not, I hope that you will attend Monday’s meeting and speak on our behalf.
Go Union Hill O&H!
Here’s how you can help! http://bit.ly/2NDpTt

Good show!
Is city council the last stop for this thing? Any idea when they’ll look at it?
It will be before City Council Monday night (Nov 23, 6:00 pm) – it is the final stop.
