Sounds like an interesting program. I know very little about the local boycotts in the 60’s and the connection to the Birmingham bus boycotts. I look forward to learning more.
I agree – I’ll be there.
Church Hill Central is a great civic association. They welcome all who live on the Hill. Growing quickly, great programs and very social. I’ll be there too.
Great meeting last night! A large group of community minded folks enjoyed an interesting and informative program. This is a very social, inclusive, fresh and innovative civic association with a solid future ahead of them. We are very fortunite to have several civic associations around us so we have choices and the ability to be a part of more then one group. If anyone has not checked out the Robinson Theater you should. A wonderful venue for all types of events and occasions. The owners did an intro for the theater last night. We’re blessed to have people who are willing to invest, as they have, in our community.
Great group. Big crowd. terrific speakers.
