Anyone know if there’s a cover charge?
WOW! Some good music here! Someone worked real hard on the line-up.
Might have to come out to this, despite the fact that festival-type things with tons of people usually make me feel like I’m gonna die of a panic attack. 🙂
its more like a donation, but I believe last year is was $2.00 or $4.00, I think.
The Church Hill Irish Festival and the Folk Festival -Gary Gerloff’s favorites. I don’t know anyone who enjoyed playing at this festival as much as him. Gary Gerloff is sorely missed.

Wow, time for more green corndogs
In addition to all the great food and music at the irish festival the Knights of Columbus will be selling their famous brunswick stew at the corner of 26 th and broad.
Bowls to eat at the festival and quarts to take home will be available for purchase. Please stop by !
Cool band name…Poisoned Dwarfs. Is anyone familiar with their music?
Can’t wait for the festival. We are having a pre and post party!
I believe the name Poisoned Dwarf is taken form the bagpipe tune of which was written for the Pipe Sergeant of the Vale of Atholl Pipe Band. Apparently she was a rather short woman with a bad attitude. Good band too.
Why is there no schedule for the pipe bands EVERY YEAR???? Isn’t this one of the main reasons why we attend the festival, to see the pipe bands?? Stage bands are lovely, but how often do we get to see the pipe bands? Why does the ‘grand finale’ band only get to play occassionally? THEY ARE THE RICHMOND COMPETITION BAND! Shouldn’t we be be able to hear them play more through the festival? The majority of the time they play we always miss it because THERE IS NO SCHEDULE FOR THE PIPE BANDS!! What’s wrong with this picture? Pipe bands are Celtic! Isn’t this a Celtic festival? My kids leave disappointed EVERY year because we always end up missing their performances, because we never know when they are going to play! We can’t sit at the stage all day waiting.
Very disappointed festival attendee
