My life was greatly touched by Apostle Taylor. He and I grew up together in Charlotte NC and he became an inspiration and mentor to me in later years. What a great loss to us all. He will be missed tremendously!
No offense, but is it accurate to call Mr. Taylor an apostle? Unquestionably he was an inspirational and spiritual man, but I think historically speaking there have not been amy apostles since the originals passed away more than 1900 years ago.
Lou, I don’t think he was trying to offend you. Many of us were also his Church members, therefore he is Apostle Taylor to us even though he may not be that to you.Your comment regarding 1900’s shows your level of belief and lack of biblical knowledge.Freedom of speech remember! It has nothing to do with being politically correct in the eyes of MAN. Gain more understanding of The word of God before citing your false wisdom. This is not the venue for debate, nor is it mature for you to comment on such a think when people are grieving.

Lou, I am not a member of that denomination but I do know “Apostle” is a title used to denote a level of standing in the church. I believe just below that is “Elder” even though many young men carry that title. “Saint” is also used.
Apostle Taylor was a good man and will be missed by all. He taught me so much in the short time I knew him. The last time we talked he was talking about the band and the youth. Take your rest friend.
It’s been five months since Apostle Anthony L. Taylor left this earthly home. His legacy continues to live through out the community and UHOP. We may not see him but his spirit continues to live in all that knew him. God knew what He was doing when He gave life to this man. Now Apostle Taylor is resting under the cedars with his family from his labors. If you do not know God, please seek Him today. This mans life was a living testimony of what God can do for anybody.
well i didnt know him personally but from what i have heard he was a good and loving person. he had an outstanding voice for singing and preaching, so I’am truly so to his family, loved ones and his friends.
