Tree decoration in Jefferson Park this Saturday

Come out and help decorate the tree in Jefferson Park:

The Friends of Jefferson Park, in cooperation with the Union Hill Civic Association, invite you to join us in decorating our White Pine Tree located near the park bandstand. We will meet at 9am sharp. Please bring your hot coffee mug, a few decorations to put on the tree and the spirit of the holiday. The event lasts less than an hour, but you get to enjoy the beautiful tree for the whole holiday season!

We do have lights and some red bows from previous years. I will double-check with the City to ensure we have electricity at the tree.

Please let me know if you can help out in the following ways:

1. I can bring an 8 foot ladder to help put bows on the light poles.
2. I can bring some pastries, cookies or doughnuts to share.
3. I can bring a few large red bows for the light poles.
