Lost a male pit mix?
02/02/2011 7:16 PM by John M
A male pit mix found my dog and I while we were out for a run this evening. He followed us from the upper end of Chimborazo Park. He’s brown, un-neutered, about 55-60#. Wearing a collar but no tags. He was friendly with my dog and pretty playful- I think he’s young. Seemed a little skittish/ nervous once we confined him. Please call 690-6594 and be able to describe his collar or something else about him if he’s yours.
TAGGED: pets
crossed paths with a guy on M who said he lost a dog that fits the description. the guy requested that if i found the dog to let him know. didn’t catch his name, but he said he lived on the 600 block of 33rd.
Was that today Ian? Maybe I’ll put some signs of that block tomorrow. Thanks.
I posted signs around the 600 block of 33rd today and will hang more around Chimbo Park later. If anyone else knows anything about this person looking for a similar sounding dog, please post!
So his name is Caesar and his mom found us today. Happy ending.
Hope the owner gets Caeser neutered ASAP. As far as I know, the RSPCA still does pits for free. RAC&C will provide free transport. No excuse, except for ignorance.
Hey Lucky Dog- little late on my reply here, but FYI, both I and the friend that housed Caesar preached the same mini-lecture at the owner. Hoping they listened. 😉
