Tonight, June 16, 7PM – Dr. Ed Ayers on The Episcopal Church during the Civil War:
St. John’s Church is honored to host Edward Ayers, Ph.D., president of the University of Richmond and a distinguished Civil War scholar. Dr. Ayers will describe Virginia’s pivotal religious response during those turbulent times in southern history. A reception will follow the lecture and round out this distinguished evening.
