Shooting on 20th Street

A man was shot last night in the 1700 block of North 20th Street:

Officers cordoned the area when they arrived about 7:15 p.m. and could not immediately locate the victim, who had been taken by private vehicle to Richmond Community Hospital, said Capt. Dave Martin. The man, in his early 30s, was then transferred to VCU Medical Center with potential life-threatening injuries, Martin said.
