In appreciation of Tricycle Gardens

Neighborhood favorites The Roosevelt, Alamo BBQ, and Ardent Craft Ales hosted a food-service fundraiser for Tricycle Gardens last night and raised over $600 towards the re-establishment of the vandalized fruit tree orchard on 32nd Street. The potluck dinner brought local restaurant folks out for one of Richmond’s strongest supporters of local food production.
Is there a way those of us who missed the potluck but want to help restore the orchard can make donations to the cause? I’m glad to see folks helping neighbors here.
Also, a plug for another benefit – St. John’s is hosting a BBQ to help raise money for Mary Anne Buffington’s medical expenses on the 28th. Not sure if this was on the radar already but if not, would be great if we can get the word out about this.
@Alex, Yes! You can donate at tricyclegardens.org/donate or just come by the office and hang out with us. (2107 Jefferson Ave.) We’re grateful for all support, but it’s especially meaningful when it comes from our neighbors in Church Hill.
