WHY DON’T YOU F*CKING GO TO PATRICK HENRY’S PUB & GRILLE

WHERE THE FUCK SHOULD I GO FOR DRINKS? says that I should go to Patrick Henry’s.
Again? That would make it five nights in a row, a record for me, and one I’m not proud of.
ugh. church hill is so alcoholic. y’all maybe should try to NOT drink some night. gross.
@2 – why don’t you worry about your own business. Some of us enjoy drinking.
@alex, i’m sure you do. i’ll bet you are one of those sad characters at the hill cafe or poe’s, permanently glued to a bar stool. ((shudder))
I didn’t know Church Hill had an active temperance movement! Lips that touch liquor will never touch fht4evah’s.
“one of those sad characters…”
What a coincidence. I say this all the time about my sober friends.
I’m one of those characters, though I’m anything but sad about it. It’s actually quite enjoyable socializing and relaxing with my neighbors. Why does it bother you so much what folks do to have fun? Misery loves company?
I see someone ripped off the groundbreaking What The F*ck Should I Make For Dinner site. And I’ll happily go to Patrick Henry’s when I can sit outside and not inside where it reeks of cigarette smoke.
Dens of vice should not be sullied by vile cigarette smokers.
Trish- Even in the winter, you can always sit upstairs at Patrick Henry… no smoking allowed! Sometimes it’s empty, but they have always been happy to seat us up there if we ask.
@fht4evah Drinking is super fun and keeps a good income stream to our local businesses. My wife, friends, and I don’t disturb the peace and don’t drink and drive. I think Church Hill should have more public events that take advantage of the social atmosphere. Pub Crawls, Beer Gardens, etc…. fht4eveah, you can stay home and knit cat sweaters if you’d like….
Is there a point to any of this?
I’m confused by this for two reasons; 1: we in Church Hill live mere blocks from one of the city’s largest bar/pub collections; Shockoe Bottom. Then, 2: why the cursing? Won’t this be a turn off to folks looking for somewhere to go who don’t appreciate hooligans upsetting their conversations?
