Another shooting last night on Mechanicsville

Police say just before 12:30 Saturday morning a man was headed into the Fairfield Mini Mart at the corner of Mechanicsville Turnpike and Fairfield Avenue when shots rang out.

The victim was hit in the wrist. He was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay.

This is directly across from the location of last week’s triple shooting.
