Update on Proper Pie
06/21/2012 4:31 PM by John M
We’ve been a bit quiet on the pie-front lately, as we have been working out the final details of our lease. However, as of today, I am happy to report that it is official: we take over the space at 2505 E. Broad on July 1 to start our build-out.
We are gonna work hard to get it up and running as soon as possible, but please be patient because these things do take time! I promise it will be deliciously worth the wait! Thank you all for your support and patience and remember to keep it PROPER! xox

But since no one else has asked yet…
Will Sweeney Todd be opening a barbershop upstairs? How diverse are the “non-vegan” options going to be at this particular pie shop? 😀
congrats
Sooooo looking forward to you all opening. Any plans to get a few short term parking spaces in front of your shop so folks can swing in and get a bag of pies for dinner?
Using the other business opening at 27th and Marshall as a reference where I know in 2008 parking scenarios were different? At that time a business had what is called grandfathered spaces allotted for the location rather it be 2 or 4 spaces, etc… and additional is the continuing issue.
Looking forward to it. As usual it takes way longer to open up a place than an owner thinks. Don’t worry people, they will have vegan options, see here….

Yay! Welcome to Church Hill! I can’t wait to try these “proper” savory pies! I’ll look forward to giving you the thumbs up through the windows after July 1. 🙂
