ASLA Public Awareness Event at Libby Hill Park
This event is for everyone, not just landscape architects:
Libby Hill Park – ASLA Public Awareness Event
Thursday, August 30, 2012, 11AM-noon
All ASLA members and landscape architects are invited and urged to attend the upcoming public awareness event on Thursday August 30, from 11:00 – 12:00 noon. The event will take place at Libby Hill Park in Church Hill in Richmond. This event is to celebrate the historic panoramic view from Libby Hill. It is the view for which Richmond was named. It is a view threaten by development. This event is a great opportunity for Landscape Architects to celebrate an iconic landscape and let public officials know about our profession.
Please let VA-ASLA know if you plan to attend so that we may prepare a name tag for you. (Please invite anyone that may appreciate this iconic landscape celebration.)
Please contact Jimmy Shepherd, ASLA, with questions or comments: jimmy@shepherdlp.com
