Elderly woman robbed of rent money in Fulton

A second alert from Sector 111 Lieutenant Minton (Daniel.Minton@richmondgov.com) today:

ROBBERY IN FULTON (1900 Farrand Street)

The victim is an 82-year-old female who walked to the bank to withdraw cash to pay her rent. While she was walking home she observed a black male run by her. Moments later the same male ran up behind her without saying anything and assaulted her. The suspect then grabbed money from her person. The suspect then fled on foot in the direction of Carlisle Ave from Central Ave.

The suspect is described as a black male with light brown skin and a round face. The suspect is between the ages of 18-19 yrs old and weighing around 150 lbs. The suspect was wearing a black long sleeved thermal style shirt and khaki pants

Detectives are following up on several leads, but ask anyone with any information about this crime to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000 or text Crime Stoppers at 274637, using the key word “ITip” followed by your tip.
