Dash for Dads 5K Walk/Run

Open to the public & fun for the whole family, the goal of DASH FOR DADS is to CHEER ON FATHERHOOD, and show the importance of the father-daughter relationship (the father is the first significant man in his daughter’s life and he plays a unique and essential role in the development of her image, confidence, and self esteem). This event is one of four events scheduled for Camp Diva’s DATE WITH DAD WEEKEND, March 15-17, 2013. During the DASH FOR DADS, participants will pass the Richmond City Jail to let incarcerated fathers know they are not forgotten.

This month’s [Church Hill Association] membership meeting has a change of venue. We want to keep you on your toes, so because of a conflict at St. John’s, we will be having our monthly meeting this Tuesday, March 19th, at ChildSavers, 200 North 22nd Street. They have been kind enough to allow the Church Hill Association to use one of their meeting rooms and we thank them for their hospitality. We look forward to seeing you there at 7 pm.

LIVE @ the Warehouse

Muse Creative Workspace is hosting a subscription concert series “LIVE @ the Warehouse” in support of music education and Jazz preservation within the Richmond area. Proceeds from the concert will benefit the Jazz Mentor’s Project, a community outreach initiative that connects young musicians ages 8-18 with skilled professionals. We encourage you to support this initiative as it serves to improve the fabric of our Richmond community and provide opportunity for our youth! Good music for a GREAT cause!

Church Hill Irish Festival 2013

The 28th Annual Church Hill Irish Festival takes place Saturday, March 23 (10AM-7PM) and Sunday, March 24 (8AM-6PM) at the intersection of 25th and Broad Streets. As always expect food, beer, and music. Also returning for year #2 will the Hill Topper 5k on Sunday morning.
