Have you seen Felix?

I have lost my 8 year old black cat (male). He is a sleek black speckled with a few white hairs and a patch of white under his chin. His name is Felix and he is neutered. He was last seen around Friday (3/39) at 29th and Marshall. Very friendly and very beloved. Please contact Beth at 804 332 2479 if you have any information.
The first place you need to check for your lost pet is at your county animal control/shelter. File a lost cat report & get them a photo. Check shelters in your county/city & all surrounding counties in person & often. Strays with no ID are not held for long. Do not count on anyone to call you if a similar cat is found & do not take anyone’s word that your pet is not there. Ask to see all cats even sick/kept elsewhere. How about the house that is being rehabbed on Marshall, is there anyway Felix could have gotten inside? He is such a sweetie – I hope he comes home soon!

My cat got out a couple years ago, and a friend told me to brave the weather and leave the door open for as long as I could – a day or even overnight. We did, and the cat just walked back in once it got quite outside. They often, especially if typically an indoor cat, won’t stray too far from the house.
Felix has returned! It is almost as if he read the notice on CHPN and figured he better get home. Thanks to all.
