The plan aims to take a strong community-centered approach by capitalizing on the existing assets and social fabric of the area, rather than presenting lofty ideas dependent on far-fetched funding sources. Food, physical activity, and social and transportation connections are the focus of this plan. They are all themes that surfaced as major concerns in our data collection process and are all addressed at the local level through the coordination of efforts by existing entities and community investors.
