Know of an available retail space?

Does anyone know of a retail spot available in Church Hill? A reader is looking for some pointers:
“We need around 1000 square feet, I really don’t want to blow my whole budget on renovations, but we’ll take anything at this point.”
I suggested 27th and Marshall. Can anyone think of other spaces on the market?

Speaking of LL, is Urban Farmhouse opening up there or did those plans get canned?
Every corner parcel in Union Hill permits by right retail uses without parking restrictions. The old hardware store building at Tulip (23rd) and Venable is owned by an eager landlord and could be available immediately, in addition to those mentioned above.
– There is buzz about upcoming renovations to 801 N 23rd and the leasing sign is still up.
– The guy doing the east end theater recently bought the “trust” or “tru aide” building diagonal across from the Alamo
– Speaking of the east end theater, the ground floor is expected to be a retail space
– The lawyer’s office/former gas station across from the Roosevelt
– There is still a vacant storefront retail space in the 2100 building on Broad – corner of 21st and Broad.
– There is a vacant retail space at Franklin and 25th
If I was really hungry for cool retail space, I would might take the “make me move” approach for a few cool spaces with existing uses that seem pretty quiet (i.e. maybe they’d welcome a cold call with a number higher than the current use) … the Deliverance Temple at 25th and Marshall, Bloomfield’s at 24th and O Street, and the Shrimp Market at 24th and Jefferson all come to mind.
We have a space for rent at 602 N 29th. Great building and even better rent. What type of business? Call me at 513-7342.
I seem to recall there being some space across WPA that’s been recently reno’d.
