Rebuilding Together Richmond seeking to help low-income elderly and disabled homeowners

11/26/2013 9:45 AM by

From Lt.Minton:

Rebuilding Together Richmond is a volunteer-based program that repairs and rehabilitates homes and non-profit community facilities. They help low-income elderly and disabled people who own their homes but are unable to maintain them.

I have witnessed the good work they do in Richmond and wholeheartedly believe in the benefit to the East End. If you know people 55 year of age or older or that are disabled that own their home (not renting) and have an income around $25,000 or less, they may qualify for this program.

The program is currently working on the area from N 28th to 38th Street.

Please feel free to contact me for more information or an application. Attached is their website for more information as well.
