Council representative Cynthia Newbille (7th) announced a series of 7th District Community Meetings at the end of last night’s City Council meeting. Newbille said that one topic will be the proposed Shockoe redevelopment plan.

and? There are thousands of folks in RVA who have PhD’s in all sorts of fields–yes, they studied hard, “did the work” and have my respect. But, they don’t insist upon being address as “doctor”–a title is customarily reserved for medical doctors.
