Result: 13% IncreaseTOTAL CRIME MAJOR CRIME (2013 compared to 2012)

Result: 7% Decrease
I will take a trade for property crime vs. violent crime anyday!
Unless the same people who perpetrate all the property crime are committing the violent crimes against each other. In that case, a trade in the other direction would eventually become quite positive – though the sidewalks might be red and sticky for a while.
