Friends of Chimborazo meeting/work day set for Saturday
04/28/2014 2:30 PM by John M
Friends of Chimborazo will meet at the Gazebo in Chimborazo Park on Saturday May 3 at 10AM.
After the meeting, the group will mulch/weed the garden area for a while.
Any updates on the Farmer’s Market set to start in June?
Nothing official yet.
On an un-related note, I will be organizing a group called “Friends of the Moon”. We will just be a friendly group of neighbors, cleaning up moon-dust, organizing crater-crime watches, & ensuring no earth-bound buildings or farmers markets encroach on the view or lunar terrain. Should governments wish to colonize in the near-future, we simply request a seat at the table for those discussions.
Can anyone come and what is on the agenda for Saturday?
Sorry i know this is off topic, but I wanted to respond to Kathleen:
seems pretty definative that the Farmers Market is going to happen. On GrowRVA’s webpage, they have “Chimborazo Parks Farmers market” with all the info. I have attached the link.
