Do you have long hair to donate to a good cause?

There will be a Locks of Love fundraiser at Poe’s Pub on Saturday, June 7, from 3-6 PM. Free haircuts for donors by the good folks at the new Seven Hill Salon.

The event will benefit Locks of Love, a public non-profit which provides hairpieces to children suffering ling-term medical hair loss. They use donated human hair to create the highest quality hair prosthetics. The prostheses that they provide help to restore self-esteem and confidence, enabling these children to face the world and their peers.

Donated hair must be at least 10 inches long. Bleached hair can not be used, though dyed or permed hair is ok. Monetary donations to Locks of Love are tax deductible.
