Millie’s still tops after 25 years

In her last review at the RTD before handing the reins over to Marissa Hermanson, Dana Craig gives Millie’s props for an awesome 25 years:
I wanted to use my last review to wish Millie’s a happy 25th birthday and to remind everyone that our food scene wouldn’t be where it is if co-owners Paul Keevil and Lisa Edwards hadn’t spent years opening their kitchen to young chefs who’ve gone on to make the Richmond restaurants of today even greater.

What makes Millie’s one of my no-fail spots lies in the fact that my most recent dinner was no different in quality than the first one I had more than 10 years ago.

Millie’s is responsible for our move to Church Hill. We lived in Chesterfield County and except for our jobs rarely ventured into the RVA. I talked him into going for brunch back in March 2011, and by the end of the meal he was demanding that I look into housing on the Hill. We found our condo the next week, managed to sell our house in 12 days, and ten weeks after that fateful brunch we were moving into our new place. We still love Millie’s and love being residents of the Hill. Thanks, Paul and Lisa!
