Bicycle theft on 30th Street

Bicycle of mine was stolen sometime between Saturday night and Monday morning from the alley behind my friends’ home on the 500 block of N. 30th Street. The bike was locked to the railing of a second-floor balcony, accessible to the alley by stairs. Whoever stole it must have picked its cable lock, as there was no damage to it to indicate it was cut.
The bike’s a red Trek steel-framed road model with bright yellow trim and handlebar tape. It’s an early-1980s model – I’d rescued it from my parents’ garage earlier this year – and I haven’t seen any bike like it in Richmond. Here’s hoping one of your readers might know its whereabouts.
