Richmond Tree Stewards offer free trees as part of NeighborWoods
09/15/2014 12:17 PM by John M
The Richmond Tree Stewards have a grant to provide free trees to citizens, neighborhood organizations, schools, etc. as part of the NeighborWoods® project.
If you can think of a place that needs trees and want some help making it happen, this is your opportunity. This is a great chance to help the urban forest on your block.
Applications for the free trees are are due September 20. The trees will be planted in October 2014.
Just got word that the folks at NeighborWoods
approved the application for street trees in the 600 Block of North 29th Street. I’m very exicted to work on this project and add some needed tree wells to our block!
