Recognize this dog?

From Michael:
I found this gal Saturday, November 15th, at 9am on E Grace Street between 27th and 28th Street. She came up to me when I got out of the car. She was shivering in the cold. I couldn’t let a dog sit outside in the cold, so I took her in. She has an orange collar. Very well behaved. Very friendly. She appears to be older. She is currently being well fed and taken care of.

What a sweet-faced girl. I hope that it’s a mistake that she ended up outside alone. Thank you for taking her in.
I know this dog! She belongs to Karen Sweeney who lives on Grace. Please email me or call me 804-389-0060 and I can give you her information. So glad you found her!
She is ours and her name is Chessie, you can contact me (I am her owner’s daughter) at 437-2889. Thank you, thank you!
Way to go Michael!!! Every lost dog needs to run into you! You made my day!
Thank you, Michael, for providing comfort to our Chessie. She’ll be 14 next month and is the most beloved dog of our extended family. Your kindness to a lost animal is greatly appreciated — God bless you for your gentle touch.
Good ending!
