St. John’s is getting a new roof

St. John’s is getting a new roof:
Historic St. John’s Church Foundation has signed a contract to replace the roof of the famous building.
The $222,000 contract with Saunders Roofing of Richmond includes replacing the church roof, the parish hall roof and the boiler house roof.
“All are leaking,” said Sarah F. Whiting, the foundation’s executive director, “all will be replaced with copper.”
