Police called after fights break out at Armstrong

Multiple fights involving 12 Armstrong High School students broke out around lunchtime Friday and required a police response, a school spokeswoman said.

The fights involving male and female students started about 12:30 p.m. in a hallway near the school’s cafeteria, said spokeswoman Cletisha Lovelace. Richmond police were called to help quell the disturbance, she said.
