Boaters decorate their vessels and converge on the James for a holiday boat parade from Richmond to the Varina-Enon Bridge; Libby Hill is a great viewing spot. Sponsored by the James River Advisory Council.

CHA Holiday Ball

The Holiday Ball on Saturday, December 13th will be held at the Conch Republic at Rocketts Landing this year, and includes a great viewing site for the annual Parade of Lights. Tickets are $45/person, in advance only.

Church Hill 50th Anniversary Holiday House Tour

The Church Hill 50th Anniversary Holiday House Tour will be Sunday, December 14 from noon – 5:00 PM. Trolley service will be available between homes, or you can walk and enjoy the entire neighborhood.

House Tour tickets are $20 in advance on the Church Hill Association website or at WPA Bakery, Hill Cafe, Patrick Henry Pub, Capt Buzzy’s and Hampton House (5807 Patterson Ave). Pick up or purchase tickets ($25) at St. John’s Church Parish Hall on the day of the tour.

Court End Christmas at St. John’s Church

Court End Christmas is an annual Richmond tradition – many historic sites located in and near downtown Richmond offer free programming to celebrate holidays. Shuttles will be running between sites.
