Alamo BBQ seeking ABC on/off
01/31/2015 5:55 PM by John M
Alamo BBQ applied for a license to sell beer/wine on/off on January 21.
They seek to join a number of local establishments with an on/off ABC license including Union Market, Metzger Bar and Butchery, and Urban Farmhouse.
Anybody know if this would allow them to offer beer/wine delivery along with the bbq and stuff?
Beer and Alamo is a match made in heaven.
Lone Star!
Bourbon is even better with bbq, but that’s a whole other license.
@CHPN – I could be wrong, but I believe delivery requires a different license (which is more expensive/difficult to get). But I will check ABC website
@CHPN – It appears they would have to first receive the on /off license, then they could apply for a delivery permit.(So, more like an additional license)

Yep, it looks like Union Market has that extra piece:

“Wine and Beer On and Off Premises/Keg Permit/Delivery Permit”
Are they expanding their building? Or will they have to remove something or other from their tiny work space to make room for a beer cooler?
