CHPN contributor Tricia Noel will be hosting Find Your Family History at the Library of Virginia: Getting Started on Friday, February 27 (9:30 AM – 12:30 PM).
Pre-registration is required and can be done online. $25.00.
I have been doing genealogy for almost 30-years. It is one reason why I have the skills to do the research needed for my CHA Newsletter historic subject articles. Lots of detective work but It is fun.
You do a terrific job on the CHA newsletter articles, Eric!
Thanks Aud, that means a lot that people do appreciate my articles.
I do not rely on other people’s published works but do my own research from scratch using newspapers, journals, documents, genealogies, maps, etc… Reinventing the wheel? Possibly, but it also corrects errors passed along for years and unfortunately copied by others.
Please note, because the Library of Virginia is on a two hour delay today, this event has been cancelled. Everyone who already signed up should have been contacted and the fees have been refunded. There will be another family history workshop on June 5.
