Metzger’s Bar and Butchery named Restaurant of the Year

Brad Hemp, Nathan Conway, and Brittanny Anderson’s Metzger’s Bar and Butchery opened in June at 23rd and Cedar Streets in the heart of Union Hill. Today they’ve been announced as Style’s 2015 Restaurant of the Year.
It’s been a good year for the Union Hill eatery. The restaurant opened to rave reviews, was named as one of “12 restaurants to watch” by Southern Living, and Chef Brittany Anderson won an Elby Award for Rising Culinary Star
In what has to be an unprecedented run, Metzger’s win makes this the 4th year in a row that the award has gone to an East End restaurant:
- Metzger’s Bar and Butchery (2015)
- Dutch and Co. (2014)
- Aziza’s on Main (2013)
- The Roosevelt (2012)
