Unusual and wonder if more will be popping up with other names? BTW… by current standards, there is no comma after the name and before the III designation.
(Actually, John, I think the city people who installed the signs put them in the wrong spot: instead of donating the name to one block of Q Street, they’ve donated two blocks on numbered streets.)
22nd and Q?
Is the designation “official”?
32nd & Q
That block was officially honorarily designated so recently by City Council

It’s actually 32nd and Q, where the Marshes lived.
So it’s not an actual street name? The people didn’t have to change their addresses?
I spotted another one of these honorary street signs on a side street over near Whitcomb as well.
Impressive ‘vanity’ street stuff here for this Marsh guy: Q Street (http://chpn.net/news/2015/01/26/council-to-honorarily-name-the-3200-block-of-q-street-after-henry-marsh_40026/) N. 32nd Street (in this post), and just saw he also got the 1000 block of N. 33rd Street as well. Why would people just settle for ‘me’ walls in their offices when they can have multiple streets named after them?
