Community workshop on the future of 25th and Venable

VCU urban planning graduate students are working alongside students from Armstrong High School’s GroundworkRVA Green Team to host a community workshop on Tuesday, March 31st to get community feedback on the future of the vacant triangle at 25th & Venable Streets.
Everyone is encouraged to come out to provide your opinions and feedback on this exciting project.
The event will take place at the Family Resource Center (2405 Jefferson Avenue) on March 31 from 5:30-7:00 PM. Light food and childcare will be provided.

Church Hill Walking Tour

Church Hill is the oldest neighborhood in Richmond. You will meander through streets lined with beautiful late 18th and 19th century architecture; see St. John’s Episcopal Church where Patrick Henry proclaimed “Give me liberty, or give me death!” in 1775; and view stunning vistas of the City of Richmond. You will also hear about the eccentric cast of characters who make up the fabric of Colonial, Federal, and antebellum Richmond.
The tour lasts approximately 1.5 – 2 hours. It meets in front of St. Johns Church on 25th& Broad St. No need to reserve a spot, just show up!

Church Hill Walking Tour with The Valentine
