Envision the future of Jefferson Avenue at public meetings this week

There will be two public meetings this week to introduce the next step of the Greening America’s Capitals project on Jefferson Avenue: Project Introduction on June 9 and Public Open House on June 11.

The public is invited to come help envision how Jefferson Avenue can “be an inviting street that is safer for pedestrians and bicyclists, be a vibrant street with thriving local businesses, better manage stormwater runoff with the addition of green, infrastructure. [and ] honor its history as a gateway to some of Richmond’s oldest neighborhoods.”
