The lack of a leaf pickup in parts of the City is also a major culprit. It’s the little things that keep cities working properly and its citizens safe.
Tis intersection often floods and traffic routed around it The city needs to address that but yes, many other intersections here in Church Hill also flood due to the leaves choking the storm drains. Does anyone know why the city did not pick up leaves back in November/December like they usually do and now have been pushed back several times? I would think having to go under the streets and down storm drains to unclog them would cost more than sweeping them? We still have a 2 foot pile sand that was spread on our street and plowed onto the corner almost 3 weeks ago! Where will that go?
They supposedly cleaned the sewers when I reported not long ago… I think they should put grates on them.
