Man shot to death on Raven Street

Richmond Police detectives are investigating a homicide that occurred [Thursday] evening in Mosby Court.
At approximately 5:29 p.m., RPD officers were called to the 1900 block of Raven Street for a report of a shooting. They quickly located a man who had been shot lying on the ground outside one of the residences.
He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead at 6:17 p.m.
His identity will be released once next of kin have been notified.

This marks the 4th killing in the East End in 2016, and the 14th for Richmond as a whole.
There are more comments on this site about lost pets than there are about murders and robberies!?
The deaths are a crying shame, but I don’t think most of folks that post on here have the scope of experience to comment on murder. Pets, on the other hand? Everyone either has them, or knows someone who does.
Victim identified as: Eric A. Banks, 35, of No Permanent Address. Banks was shot shortly before 5:30 p.m. yesterday, outside a residence in the 1900 block of Raven Street.
