Grotty exercise equipment in Jefferson Park to be replaced this week

The grotty exercise equipment in Jefferson Park is scheduled to be replaced this week with new modern outdoor equipment.
The Friends of Jefferson Park was the recipient of a $51,591 award from Bon Secours Richmond Health System and a $10,000 grant from an anonymous donor towards the new equipment.
In other Jefferson Park news, there will be a ribbon cutting for the new Jefferson Park Peace Fountain on June 7, at 6:30 PM.

I remember being so excited when I discovered that the part had fitness trail type equipment, and so disappointed when I actually saw it – so this is pretty awesome.

I’d love to see Jefferson park get more use in general, and more positive use, like exercise, in specific. Thanks for making it happen, people!!!!!
