Recommend a roofer and/or painting contractor?
It seems our long-time roofer, Curtis Jones (C. Jones Roofing) who has done tons of work in CH has gone MIA. The two numbers I had for him are now disconnected. For now, we need someone to clean off our flat roof. We usually do this spring and fall. Recommendations greatly appreciated.

It’s been several years since anyone has asked for names of recommended painting contractors who work around CH. We need the exterior of our wood-sided house painted. It’s been about 13 years since it was last done. Chasen painted it the last time and did a good job. We would use them again but would prefer not to pay close to $20K. Looking for recommendations for house painters, particularly those who’ve done an excellent job prepping (scraping, caulking). Thanks for the help.

I cannot recommend Bill Pangburn of http://www.savoyhistoric.com/ enough. His entire team are exceptionally talented and his attention to detail is astounding. If you want a damned good job done right the first time and built to you last you hire Bill’s team. After he worked on my place the rest of the block chose him for their own projects. 15-20K to paint exterior of wood sided house. Need a roofer and a painter.
I recommend Prime Roofing RVA for your roof. Diego and his team did a great job replacing our roof in Churchill. He had previously done several repairs because the roof was so bad. When we finally had the funds to replace, we didn’t hesitate to use him. They worked diligently, were always on time and even built custom chimney caps for us. Diego is your man. For contacting work, as already stated, Bill Pangburn is your man. He replaced the balcony on our house with a structure that will out-last the house, put a side door in and replaced a garage door. You won’t be disappointed.
I called Diego with Prime Roofing RVA and they came out the next day and cleared off our roof and gutter. They even took pictures. Very happy and will use them for future roofing needs.
