Missing this cute little guy?

Earlier today, I saw this little guy sniffing around my backyard. He is EXTREMELY timid (it took me about an hour to gain his trust enough to get close to him), but seems like a sweet boy. One of my neighbors said that she has seen him before and just assumed he was a stray, but I’m hoping that’s not the case.

His fur is not matted which leads me to believe that he has a home and owners who are missing him. He has no tags, but if I get no leads here, I will certainly take him to the vet and/or animal control to try to get him to where he needs to be.
