Man shot on Ford Avenue

Richmond Police say they responded to reports of a shooting in the 2200 block of Ford Avenue at around 7 p.m. When they arrived, they found an adult male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to VCU Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
I heard on the radio this morning this man passed away at the hospital from his wounds.

Three 2016 deaths that police don’t count as homicides include those of James Grant III, who died June 24 from multiple gunshot wounds; Akeem Williams, who was shot to death Feb. 9; and Eugene Edmond Jr., who died Jan. 3 from gunshot wounds. […] Williams’ death has been ruled a “justifiable homicide,” while Edmond’s death remains under investigation.
