4th Annual DEM-O-Q in Fulton on Sunday

The Richmond City Democratic Committee is hosting their 4th Annual DEM-O-Q on Sunday, June 26, from 1:30 – 4:30 PM at Fulton Hill Properties (1000 Carlisle Avenue).

“This is our thank you to party members and friends who have worked tirelessly to support and promote our party, our elected officials and our values. We encourage all to join us as we celebrate our collaborative success and get ready to claim yet more victories during the upcoming election, “ said J.J. Minor, chair, RCDC.

Minor says this event will be especially important as members will be honoring Congressman Bobby Scott for his years of service to the Richmond community.

Voter registration also will be available for those who may need to register or change registration information, as well as information about the Restoration of Rights—Check Your Status campaign.

According to Minor, recent legislation has restored voting rights to thousands statewide—many of whom are not aware of the restoration. “We encourage those who may have lost their rights to join us to see if their voting rights have indeed been restored,“ said Minor.
