Brauers man will be Libertarian candidate for House of Delegates in special election

Resident of the Brauers neighborhood and teacher at Franklin Military Academy, John W. Barclay will be the Libertarian representative in the now three candidate contest to replace Jennifer McClellan in the House of Delegates (71st District), joining Democratic candidate Jeff Bourne and Independent Regie Ford.

The special election for the for the 71st District House of Delegates seat will be on February 7, 2017. The deadline to register to vote in this election is Tuesday, January 31, 2017. The deadline to apply for an absentee ballot through the mail is also January 31, 2017. The deadline to apply for an absentee ballot in person (with limited exceptions) is Saturday, February 4, 2017.
